Then install it. You can. Just go to the website where you downloaded it last time and if your laptop can run KSP, then you should be able to install it the same way you did on your computer.

It's fine. As long as it's your computer. If you purchased the game as a household then you could install it on any computer in the house in which the group is located (i.e. the party). If purchased as individual (i.e. the party) then just your computers wherever they may be.
