Having trouble with Breaking Ground propellers

Recommended Posts

Maybe, the pitch of your propeller blades is shallow enough that, once you get moving, they are moving straight through the air without deflecting the airflow, at max engine RPM.
You could try again with a steeper angle on the propeller blades.

Another possibility is that the propeller blades are connected to pitch/yaw/roll controls and once you start moving your pitch/yaw/roll inputs changes the angle of your blades.

@OutOfAblator Are you using the turboshaft engine or the electric rotors?

The turboshaft engine uses liquid fuel to work, but the rotors can use a lot of electricity. Your launch clamps provide a constant supply of electricity but as soon as you decouple them your batteries will drain without some other way of generating power like solar panels, RTGs or fuel cells.
