Dv from mining is vanishing

Hello guys,

I'm stuck with a problem that I cant solve by myself. When I start mining, my DV goes down I think because the Ore weight is increasing, but when I start the converter, the Ore is consumed and I regain the DV lost and end with the same DV from the start. I guess that the change in my dv is only for the Ore weight changing from mining to consuming and the converter is not giving me any fuel but my tanks is changing values from oxidizer and liquid fuel. I figured out, everything is working, but the fuel generation rate is low, I need to put the mining and the converter running at the same time for a longer period. Thanks!

Ah, yes, in order to refuel you need to run both, the drills and the ISRU unit(s), for some time. One warning about the Convert-O-Tron 125 : it "throws away" 90% of the mass of the ore. While the large ISRU converts 1 t of ore into 1 t of fuel (Lf, Ox, or the combination of both), the small one converts 1 t of ore into 0.1 t of fuel. So it is recommended to empty your ore tanks before taking off when you only have the small ISRU with you.
