The kerbicus Space Program

The little green men in little white lab coats at Kerbicus Research and Development corparation have been experimenting with flammable liquids and scrap metal and have invented what they call a rocket engine! Now they have captured the imagination of the Kerbin world and scientists around the world are looking towards the Mun, wondering what is up there, and now the rocket engine has been invented, they know a way to get there.

The Kerbicus R&D Co has sent a Planet-wide invitation to all other technical minded companies to complete a Space Program challenge, to explore the Mun for the first time in Kerbin history!

The Letter

Dear Sir/Madam of "insert company name here",

We at Kerbicus R&D Co have invented the rocket engine, but our scientists have hit a mind-block, they don't know what to do with it! We have become aware that the Kerbin people have learned of our invention and for some reason we can't fathom, they are looking to the Mun?!

We are willing to give you our invention of the rocket engine, if your company is willing to complete a series of tasks we have carefully thought of come up with, that we believe is in the publics interest.

Objective

Complete all tasks in the Kerbicus Space Program.

Rules

Rules are simple, You may use any mods that you want to, but no "cheat" mods (like unlimited fuel or instant orbit)

You must complete each task in order, using craft built just for this challenge.

Task List

• Build and launch 3 satellites in a 120kx120k orbit around Kerbin (degrees is your choice, i did 1 at 0 and 2 at 90)
  
• Build and launch 1 satellite in a 80kx80k orbit around the Mun at 90 degrees (or close too. +/- 10 degrees is fine)
  
• Build and launch a 1 Kerbal pod and land him on the Mun, then return him to Kerbin.
  
• Build and launch a 3 Kerbal pod and land it on the Mun. return stage not needed this time.
  
• Build and launch a Habitat building and land it on the Mun near your 3Kerbal pod. must have space for at least 4 kerbals. (i suggest the crew tank for this)
  
• Build and launch a 3 crew return/swapping craft and swap your 3 kerbals on the Mun with new crew, return the original 3 to kerbin.
  
• Build and launch a rover and land it on the Mun near your habitat.
  
• Complete a 2nd crew swapping mission, replacing the 2nd crew with a new set of crew.
  
• Build and launch a extension for your habitat and land it on the Mun (your habitat should have at least space for 9 kerbal now)
  
• Continue to land Kerbals on the Mun until you have 9 crew on the Mun.
  

Make it more interesting

Make it more interesting using Mods! Zoxygen, electricity and such will make this challenge more enjoyable and even more challenging.

Scoring system

You get 10 points for each task completed.

You lose 1 point for each Kerbal death.

You lose 2 points for every failed mission.

You lose 2 points for every mod used that makes it easier (mechjeb, better engines etc)

you lose 20 points for every mod that is considered a cheaty mod (like instant orbit, epic thrust engines etc)

You get a bonus 5 points if you use mods that add extra difficulty (extra resources like electricity, Zoxygen etc)

You get a bonus 2 points for completing any extra missions required for kerbal survival becuase of using mods (such as launching a lander designed to drill for Zoxygen)

You get a bonus 2 points for doing missions without the use of Mechjeb. (does not include extra missions)

How to submit

You can submit screenshots that you think serves as good enough evidence of completing a task. for example, for a crew swap task, a screenshot of the new crew on the mun along side the original crew and a screenshot of the original crew back on Kerbin.
