My resolution resets from (1920 x 1080) to my native 2K resolution during EVERY loading phase.

This issue has been persisting for several months now. If I interact with my computer (i.e. mouse click, keystroke) during the loading phase, my resolution resets from my preferred (1920 x 1080) to my native 2K screen resolution.  Sometimes it's more of a pain, and it just resets if it takes too long to load, regardless of my abstinence.  It will reset if discord or steam overlay are active during the completion of the loading phase.  I need my (1920 x 1080) resolution so that my computer can run KSP better.

I've looked up other solutions such as this and this and tried them out, but I have been unsuccessful.  My computer runs on the latest version of Windows 10 Pro, and I have a GTX 1050 Ti, Ryzen 5 1500x, 8GB of ram.  This problem occurs without and with mods, I'm aware this is the unmodded thread section.

Please help.

I get the same problem myself - have to make an effort to not click anything until screens have finished drawing
