Black skybox (looks like it's not working right)

Can anyone help? 

 

So it's a fresh install, I'll provide a modlist and the log.

When I first boot into a new game and the KSC shows up, the skybox is blue and looks normal, then as soon as I make my first craft and try to launch it, the sky turns black like this.

When I load the Scatterer settings it says Planet Loaded: False for Kerbin

 

Can anyone help please?
