The Ultra Hard Career Challenge

 

Start a new custom career game and reduce the reward sliders back to 20% and switch off No entry purchase on Research option.

You can keep the other options the same as a regular normal challenge.

The Goal: unlock the entire Tech tree.

Description

This challenge is for the people who find the a regular hard career game too easy and love to grind science from every corner of the solar system.
I did a similar challenge a couple of years ago with all reward slides on 10% and proved that is possible, although very difficult. That’s why I decided to propose this challenge with the reward sliders on 20% to make it a bit more mainstream. If there are any takers on doing a 10% reward challenge, we could make a platinum section for them.

Rules:

1.       Science labs are not allowed

2.       Mods that add extra sciences points to the game in any way are not allowed

3.       Mods that retrieve science automatically are allowed

4.       Mods that add information or enhance visuals are allowed

5.       All strategies are allowed

6.       No cheating and making use of kraken drives and such please

7.       Stock engines only

8.       Feel free to add more restrictions!

9.       Please let me know if you’re using breaking ground DLC. Ground science experiments make the challenge easier.

 

No points, just kudos for completion. This is a large enough endeavour to reward completion in any form.

This will be a very long challenge and it will be difficult to keep track of all the progress you make. I don’t need to see all missions/contracts (because there will be many) , but some sort of visual proof of highlights of your progress would be appreciated.

Really?! That's so cool! Maybe I'll  stop my 20% challenge and start a 10% challenge as well!

This is a big challenge that will take several videos to make. I'll start soon but I'll get side tracked by lots of other small challenges in the mean time. You can put me on the board when I post the first video.
