How to make hypersonic jet fly level

How do you make a hypersonic jet, like an https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aurora_(aircraft), fly level at high altitude and speed?  Whether it’s flying with SAS on or off (only control surfaces, no RCS or torque), when its pitch is level it wants to keep climbing until the engines flame out from lack of air, and speed drops.

Try shifting the centre of lift a little further back or the centre of mass a little further forward.

SAS will tend to pitch the nose up over time because it tries to keep pointing in the same direction, but as you fly the curvature of the planet means that that direction becomes more 'up' as you fly; faster planes are affected by this more obviously than slower ones and Kerbin's small size makes it pretty conspicuous after only a few minutes of flight.

You may want to consider using an autopilot mod, there are a few to choose from:

you can use Kramax Autopilot Continued or you could try to reduce the lift in the plane.
