[Video] Shuttle to mun and back no mods no tweaks

I have developed a shuttle that can travel to the mun and minmus. And then Return to Kerban and that's what is demonstrated in the video. I even have my craft file downloadable in the video description so you can try it yourself.

I'm not 100% sure at this very moment. I wanted to involve the commenters to plan out my next one. It seems it's probably going to be a modded version of the game. I'm going to spend some time looking through the new mods before I plan out a new mission.

Great mission! I prefer controlled landings over parachutes too.

Here's a similar one which I managed to land on the mun and return to the runway. I'm still trying to figure out a horizontal mun lander shuttle though.

Oh nice! This was done with the core game? No Tweaks to the fuel or engines? As I was having trouble with weight vs thrust vs fuel. Yours looks much lighter then mine.

Yep it's all stock & I avoided the fuel exploit as much as possible with ample fuel left over.

Here's the full vehicle + launcher, put it into the VAB to launch.

Launch procedure is simple, ASAS and full throttle, then hit space whenever you see engines cut out.

Also be careful to decouple the lander stage (final stage) under low/no power, as it can damage the tail.
