KSP stuck at "Loading Expansions" even though I don't have any KSP expansions.

So I'm deeply confused as to why this is happening to my version of KSP. Before 1.9.x my KSP also would crash when it got to the Squad folder in GameData unless I was running 1.5.1 or lower. I don't know if this has anything to do with it though. Anyway when KSP is loading and it reaches the end is where it gets stuck at "Loading Expansions." I have no idea why this is even here in the first place as I have not bought any expansions. It never moves on from there so right now, the game is unplayable for me. Hope somebody has the solution to this as I have been trying to figure this out myself.

Check the logs. KSP.txt inside the KSP directory and Player.txt/Player.log (location varies by OS, try C:/users/your user/AppData/LocalLow/Squad/Kerbal Space Program) should have some indication of what is going on.

When the game stops loading at the expansions, it means some kind of exception has occurred and the game can’t continue loading. It almost never relates directly to the expansions themselves.
