Game freezes while switching time warp speeds.

Recommended Posts

Changing time warp speed in anyway causes the game to freeze. After it freezes I have to end the process with task manager, no crash log is created. I have tested in multiple saves that the freeze will only occur in career mode saves and does not happen in science or sandbox mode. Can someone tell me the problem and how to fix it? Thank you

KSP: 1.9.1 Windows 64 bit

Problem: Game freezes when changing time warp.

Ok, I looked through your logs.  One thing I noticed is that you have AVC installed.  As far as I know it has problems in 1.9.x and up (I may be wrong about this).  Try installing ZeroMiniAVC from here: https://spacedock.info/mod/1614/ZeroMiniAVC

It probably won't fix it, but it's just something I noticed.

I looked at the very end of output_log.txt and found two errors:

I'm not entirely sure if they're related, but one of them is a graphics issue (d3d) and might be resolved by updating your graphics drivers; the other seems to relate to Science Checklist, but I don't see anything called that in your mod list so I don't know where that's coming from- possibly [x]Science! Try uninstalling or updating that mod and adding ZeroMiniAVC as suggested above, then replicating the steps in the video- if it crashes again then something else (perhaps better time warp?) could be to blame, but if it consistently doesn't happen then you've found the cause.
