Fix All Bugs!

I agree that bugs need fixing. However, recently the game crashes even during the building stage in the VAB. That means that the game is recently unplayable. Crashes several times in an hour. That is bad. What physics calculations would slow the hardware and software down if you are just building a craft.

You might just ask for your money back if it's so poorly supported.

None; because that wasn't the context that those calculations were brought up in. If the game is crashing with no mods installed and for no apperent reason in the VAB, then by all means that's a problem they need to fix.

If you have mods, then you can ask someone in the forums for help troubleshooting. VAB crashes can easily be the result of conflicting mods/missing dependencies.  We were trying to reel in the OPs expectations of what their console could do, not justify all problems with KSP as a result of it. There's plenty of longstanding issues i'd be more than happy to bash SQUAD on, double so for the Console version.

And if you want a refund and can get it, by all means go for it.

I agree. I know there are none. That's exactly my point. (Often calculations are blamed for the crashes on consoles.)

Also consoles don't have mods so they can't be blamed for crashes either. So it has to be the coding?

I have experienced bugs that I can live with or work around but with the last update so many players are complaining that the console edition has become impossibly unreliable and temperamental. I'd like the game to be functioning.

Oh yeah I didn't know if you were on console or not, but it's well known that it has stability issues unrelated to any calculations. Personally I think SQUAD should freely exchange it for the PC version of KSP or offer refunds due to how badly the port is made.

I think the original post was about the console edition.

I have both the PC and PS4 version. I can see the difference.

What annoys me is that they made a big song and dance about the complete edition on consoles about a month ago. So they showed the intention to keep the game alive on consoles. Yet everyone says: don't have too many save files, don't have too many crafts in space, don't have too many ship designs saved in the VAB. I could live with such limitations and I would be fine without the ESA update if the game was stable.

There are new calculation problems too. Funnily enough instead of Check your staging, they should advertise the console edition with Check the game calculations. So many times in the new update I had a nice periapsis set up for circularizing at the Mün but by the time I arrived I was heading for impact.

I'm happy with the PC version. I just find it easier to control flights with the controller instead of the keyboard. If there was a proper plug in for controller support on PC, I'd be happy.
