Someone help me!!!!!!!!!!!

So today i downloaded the patcher and it went full n and when it was done a window came up saying it was done!

Bad news: it did nothing, didnt add anything to KSP. So i started up KSP and the update box came up. so i pressed update and it brang me to KSP store and i logd in and clicked on download and it came up with the page to download the patcher again!!!!! I WANT 0.17 i already downloaded the patcher thing and it said it was DONE!!!! and when i press software and then press download it logs me out and does nothing!!!!! HELP MEEE!!!!

Due to extreme server load, the patcher will sometimes lose connection during download. Keep trying again, be patient, and you'll get it eventually. It took be a few hours of trying the other night to download it.

First, if you ask for help, don't go and reject a very likely answer and solution merely because you don't understand what is going on.

Fact is, the servers are overloaded, and it is extremely likely your download got dropped. 99.999999999% of the time, the patcher throws an error when this happens. However, there are bound to be more than a few cases where it does not pick it up. After all, no error-checking method is foolproof. There are always some things it won't notice.

Chances are, it downloaded a completely empty patchfile and tried to patch with it.

Best thing to do is try again. Keep an eye on the progress of the download; if it starts patching before the download has even finished, the download got dropped. Usually it notices and gives an error, but in rare occasions it won't.

A final word:

If you're going to ask for help, don't be so damned quick to reject a potential solution. It really makes you seem very silly indeed.
