Track Editor: Straight Line?

Recommended Posts

quick q: is there a shortcut or button to align a point with another point, to make a perfectly straight line?

as shown in the screenshot, i want the piston to extend to full extend by half way through the timeline and stay there. the only way I can do this currently is by eye-balling the middle action point to be aligned with the end action point. However they're never perfectly aligned and so the piston continues to extend or unextend throughout the sequence.

Was wondering if there a way to auto-align two action points?

if you make the values the same then it's a straight line.

Now that I read that again.. Actually, that's only true if the tangent markers point straight at each other. I haven't found an easy way to get those to exactly the angle I'd like (but they should snap into the horizontal position). There are some buttons at the top to set them straight or curved.

yeah if you set the values the same then use the straight button i'd think it'd become flat
