MechJeb and 0.17 - Ship Disassembles

Pardon if this is covered elsewhere, but a cursory search turned up nothing. Since installing 0.17 and the appropriate new version of MechJeb, I'm having a problem with the new orbital operations for the various planets. Basically, when the MechJeb drops out of warp to do the insertion burn, my ship disassembles. It doesn't explode, it just...falls apart and makes the staging sound. Fuel tanks separate from each other, etc... It does not occur on ascent when warping to apoapsis, or when I abort the warp...only when MechJeb takes over.

Any ideas?

This is actually caused from the fast change in warp speeds. It will in fact happen if you yourself change high warp speeds quickly and often.

Occasionally... parts just drift away. Unfortunately, it's usually moving parts like vector capable engines. Mechjeb just does these so fast that it currently just rips the ship apart.

one way i found to avoid said disintegration is quicksave before you let mechjeb do a time warp then whenever it does disentegrate look at the Mission lock remember the numbers (or wright them down) then load back to your quicksave and before you get to the 'blow-up time' just keep clicking the time warp bar's 1x speed (because Mechjeb will fight you lol) i think it might be fine if its at 5x or 10x but im not sure, just keep doing that until you start your burn or whatever your trying to make Mechjeb do. hope this helps, ive used this method so far to get to Eve and Duna lol

I hate the fact that for interplanetary travels mechjeb warps soooo slowly ... i only use mech jeb for repetitive transfers after i do it myself a few times .. but it warps at 10000 max, it should go to 100000 otherwise it is waaaayy too slow

Ramon released a beta 1.9.2 mumechlib.dll that goes to 100,000x warp, the download for it should be towards the bottom of the first post.

Interesting.

As for the disassembly issue...it is definitely a warp issue. It is not mechjeb's fault, as I can, as ferris suggested, induce it manually by jerking the warp level around too quickly.
