New lights bug

I have the following problem:

Since the 1.11 update, the lamps no longer save their colors when I stand on the launch pad, or save and load!

I've tried everything.

 -Reinstall

 -Create a new save game

 -Tried without mods, with a new save game and a new game installation

 -All files created by Steam are deleted and then reinstalled

 

How can I solve the problem or do I have to wait for an update?

I have noticed this too on the new navigation looking lights.  The blink setting does get saved but the colors reset to white on the launchpad.

There are a few issues in the bug tracker where other players have reported the same problems since KSP 1.11 came out this week.

There's something wrong with how this new way of storing light color info works.  Either it is not getting saved in files or it's not being loaded back from files.  It also gets forgotten in craft files so if you spend time in the VAB fiddling with the light settings it's wasted time because it gets forgotten when you go from VAB to launchpad.  Not sure what is wrong but anything that involves saving/loading to a file fails to preserve these settings.

I'm seeing the same problem, basically will need to wait for 1.11.1 to use light colors.

It's a known bug and has been reported on the KSP bug tracker. 

I imagine as the development team comes back from the winter holiday, they'll be addressing it for a future patch.
