ryacko
http://www.raceintospace.org/Interesting game. Basically you get to play as the US or the Soviets during the space race.Sadly cheat engine only works for editing US money, not soviet money, so Soviet victories are even more difficult. RulerOfNothing
Ah, I remember Race Into Space. Incidentally, I have only managed to win as the soviets.

Paul Drye
Oh cool! I played this game back when it came out and have missed it ever since -- even though it was damned hard. I would usually play the two player hot-keyboard version and deliberately screw up one of the two sides so I'd have time to 'win' with the other I've been pining for a newer game like it that extends into the future with Mars missions, etc. the last few years. Guest LoSboccacc
is there a manual too?
RulerOfNothing
Losboccacc, you can get a manual here.I have a question though. As I have started playing Race Into Space again recently, I am wondering if my progress is alright, having done my first successful Mercury mission in Spring 1960? Guest LoSboccacc
played in every free minute since knowing about it.then achron got out, but that's another story.still, it's quite heavily guided for a free form game. I wonder if there can be winning strategies that are away from the historical path. but, as it is, the penalty for not following history is pretty harsh. also, the docking module forces a lot of pointless launches
RulerOfNothing
While I agree that the repeated docking missions are tedious, you can avoid the need for docking entirely by doing a direct ascent moon landing with the 4-person capsule.
