Welcome to Solar System Challenge!

Well, this is my first challenge posted in, so please join. Post to this thread to join.

Prologue:

In a solar system, far, far away...(Or close)

There are 8 planets, many moons, and astroids. (In KSP 0.17, there are 5 planets and 8 moons.)

The space exploration begins when Wernher Von Kerman launches his Jupiter rockets to orbit (Kerbal US's Vanguard project is just hot air....), and Jebediah Kerman becomes the first kerbal in space and orbit Kerbin, so the Kerbals decided to explore and prey them to be always safe. However...

...this is not to be.

Rule for this challenge:

1.You starts with $16000. (You have $6000 loaned and you originally have $10000) You can loan, deposit, withdraw from existed money, and return money. See Bank Rules.

2.MechJeb uses are legal, but every module costs $50.

3.Space shuttles are allowed (TiberDyne Industries has the greatest Shuttle Booster System, get it early!), but every part costs $50.

4.SSTO Spaceplanes are okay. The cart addons are allowed, and they are the only items free.

5.A round takes 7 days, or a week. (Except Round 001.)

6.You earns $200 per day. You will earn more as you get better. See Rank Table.

7.Build rockets or spaceplanes to launch in space.

8.You don't lose points after a promotion.

9.Any parts are allowed. No technology needed.

10.You need to post pictures or videos to prove you did it. You can post attachments if you need to.

11.You have to post to this thread to get entries. I'll anounce finalists on Sunday, September 29, 2012.

Missions and Contracts:

1.Jebediah Kerman Begins

Story:

As Jeb becomes an astronaut candidate, he work so hard, but Kerbal US is missing people to perform a spaceflight. So Jeb become the first crew to prepare to space. Can he do it?

Objective: Let Jeb become first kerbalnaut in space, orbiting Earth, and perform EVA. (Jeb don't have to be alone)

Reward: $20000 and 5 points.

Remark: This mission remained exist forever as a scenario, and this mission is qualification scenario. Complete it, and others are unlocked. If you fail, you are disqualified.

2.NSN's, SN's and DSN's

Story:

As more mission are handled by KSC, KSC need some backup station for it.

Objective: Build 4 space network stations.

Reward: $50000 and 5 points.

Remark: This mission remained exist forever as a scenario, and in this scenario, everything is free except MechJeb and ODRA.

3.Recycle the Scraps

Story:

As more part are used, and more parts are dumped, into a mission, the Jebediah Kerman's Jebediah Kerman's Junkyard and Spaceship Parts Co. became overloaded due to the fact that Jeb and his employees can handle less trash than the trash KSC generate. So they decide to recycle the trash. Can they do it?

Objective:

1. Build a recycling center. It has to have atleast 4 sections called recycling center, recycled store, recycling factory, and recycled hanger.

2.Jeb and other 5 kerbalnauts have to be in or near the recycling center.

Reward: $50000 and 10 points

Remarks: This contract remained exist forever as a scenario, and in this scenario, everything is free except MechJeb and ODRA.

Bonus:

1.First flight: $1000

2.First full orbit: $2000

3.First Suscessful Landing:$3000

4.Suscessful Mission:$8000

5.Suscess Failure: $4000

6.First plane: $4000

7.First spaceplane: $6000 (A plane that reached 70+ km is considered a spaceplane)

8.First manned spaceflight: $3000

Costs: (Look at the accounts, that indicates whether your saved or wallet money is taken for something and whether what will act like debt.)

1.Mission: $100 per mission (Taken from wallet account)

2.Fuel: $1.00 per Litre *The fuel price is subject to change every round.* (Taken from wallet account)

3.Space Center Rent: $1000 per month (4 rounds are considered a month, but round 001 is considered a month) (Taken from saved account)

4.Dead kerbal: $20000 (Entered to debt)

Bank Rules:

1.You can loan, pay debt, withdraw how much you have, and deposit to a bank. The loan increases by 10% every month, and the saved money increases by 10% every month.

2.The bank can have $20000000, with $200000 in the bank. The bank will have more and will increase capacity.

3.You can have total of $200000 loans , $500000 of saved money, and $2000000 of wallet money.

4.Currently the financial condition is neutral, so the bank can handle $20000.

A few questions:

Do normal parts (not MechJeb or so) cost how much it says in the VAB or is there a special list?

Which mods are allowed?

How do we (peope who want to participate) participate? Do we post screenshots/videos of what we did or do we send detailed instructions and the .craft file to you so you can recreate the flight?

Do we submit entries by posting or by PM?
