I wanna present some Pictures of my succesful landings. (Not everytime Succesfull....... )

Duna!

The rover exploded...

****! The Whole lander exploded at the Landing..

The rover is heavily damaged.

The upper cap of the rover exploded, and the RCS Fuel tanks.

The rover can't get back anymore. ;_;

Jool! It is a.. kinda fail..

Well Jools gravity is a kinda heavy. ._.

Not even SAS can handle that!

And it is still standing there. About 2 years.

Fail. But here it is! You can land on Gas giants!

hm.... cool jool landing, but i was thinking.. since gas giants technically have a liquid hydrogen/helium surface, should there be an "ocean" of sorts?

well technically... any close approach to a gas giant would most likely end in the ship collapsing in on itself like a smashed beer can.

The gravity is extremely intense on a body that size.

Exactly. I don't know, i were at the way to Duna, but then I got in an IKE Orbit. I had to get away from it, but it worked.

And i needed 2 Rocket starts for this. One time, my first try ever, I used parachutes they opened at.. 10 meters above the surface. And BOOOM! Everything exploded. Well well. Second try,

I used parachutes and the engine. It worked..... Not so good. The whole Lander Exploded and the Exposion pushed the rover back into air. And were he came back, his Upper Shell and everything exploded. Well, it was an half sucessful landing! What about you. Did you land at Duna?
