Constantly stuck in a small screen.

I recently opened ksp the game loaded fine only for me to notice the screen wasn't being used up fully. It kind of had shrunk into a small square. I've had the game a while I understand the full-screen setting but idk what to do from here.

Have the display settings in KSP changed (main options from start screen -> graphics tab, top right )? I reinstalled the game after a period away and the screen resolution was set wrong. You also have an option to play (or not play) in windowed mode but it sounds like you know about that already?

Other than that check your graphics card as sometimes resolutions can be changed there as well.
