Ctrl-Left-click in VAB to Navigate to clicked part in part list

I like to use this shortcut. Ctrl-click on a part of a vessel and I can quickly locate the part from left part list: to read part description. But it is not working. Is it gone or just not working with me?

I don’t think it’s implemented. On the Wiki it’s got a ? by it’s implementation date which suggests (comparing to other controls with the same that don’t work) it was never added.
