B9 Wings showing incorrect dimensions?

The Engineer's Report will show the dimensions of a vessel as if the wings are of the of the default wing size (as in the big square),  even if I trim the wings down. But if the wings are bigger than the default wing size, then the Engineer's Report will read the accurate dimensions of the vessel. Is there something I'm missing?
