Autostruts not working across docking ports

Since the 1.12 update, autostruts no longer seem to function across docking ports, this includes the MK2 inline docking port which is bizarre. 

Is this intentional or a bug? It's really limiting on space station and space plane design.

Docking ports now rotate a little bit, and much like Breaking Ground robotics parts you can’t autostrut through them any more. Unclear if this is an intended feature or an unintended consequence of making docking ports rotatable.

There is a hot fix coming for this in the next update, and you should be able to autostrut through them after it.  Until then, you could either try reverting to 1.11, or manually put struts on the outside. FYI, manual struts can now be automatically unstrutted using action groups.

I am glad to report that the 1.12.2 hotfix has solved this particular issue.
