modded VAB part skins/storage is acting strange, help??

[hey, it me bob]

as the title says, im having a touch of trouble when it comes to the different part variations of either cargo (fuel, ore, modded resources.) or skins.

the different aesthetics of the parts arent so big of an  issue for me, its just i think the two issues are related and im hoping i could get some help with it.  

the mods that are giving me the trouble (i think, there may be more) are stock like station parts redux, near future exploration and near future launch vehicles.

im playing on ksp 1.12 and have gotten the latest versions of each of the mods. i downloaded and installed all the mods manually and im generally inexperienced when it comes to modding.

any ideas? please and thank you.

I can’t tell what the problem actually is based on your description- screenshots please!

Check that you have all the required dependencies for your mods and that you’re using the right mod versions for your version of KSP.

If you’re going to be doing a lot of modding in the future, you should consider using CKAN- it automatically installs mods and their dependencies in a couple of clicks, can manage many different copies of KSP with different mods in each and will pick up any updates to mods when they come out; it can take a bit of getting used to and not every mod is on CKAN for various reasons, but it makes life a whole lot easier.

It might be able to help with this issue, but that depends on what the issue is and what’s causing it.
