Landing gear steering nonexistent - KSP 1.12.2

So, I went to try to launch a drone aircraft in my sandbox save (mind you this is on a heavily modded install), and the steering on the landing gear is non-existent.  Even when I set friction control to override, I can't seem to get the wheels to turn at all (and that's with both stock and mod landing gear wheels).  Any idea what I can do to try to get the steering working again?

 

I should also mention that even the turning animations aren't playing and I do have Advanced Tweakables active.

 

EDIT: I think I answered my own question when I remembered I had set rover steering controls to my numpad.  I changed 'em back to default, which fixed the issue, and now I'm feeling like an idiot.
