Plane on Duma?

Would it be possible to build a plane that I could take to Duma and fly in it's thinner atmosphere, or at least make a shuttle like entry?

Possibly, it would need a pretty big wingspan though if you wanted it to actually fly, I couldn't see it getting from Kerbin to Duna though. A shuttle (again with a kinda large wingspan) would work though for a gliding entry.

As for landing in the Duma, I don't think the Russian Government would like that.

My first Duna landing used a winged lander. It had four of the "advanced canard" parts and flew just fine. The atmosphere is thinner, but the gravity is also lowerâ€â€and the difference in atmosphere isn't nearly as big as the real difference between Earth and Mars.
