Cheat Menu and Console Save Files

Hello,

PS4 Console question, if using the cheat menu with one game save file lets say my alt game save file, does the using of the cheat menu on the alt game save file overlap to my other game save files and make them not eligible for achievements/trophies on my main game save file that I'm not using the cheat menu on?....

I am not sure about the PS4 version of KSP. But I do know with other PS4 titles, where I have used cheat codes in saved games, each saved game is its own entity and what's used in one game does not affect another saved game in progress, as long as that saved game is NOT loaded in the same session.

But you may want to wait until someone with KSP experience with the PS4 system can confirm that for you. I'd hate to screw up your game. You could create a dummy profile on the PS4 and give it a test, though. I do that all the time in Minecraft.

Thanks, ill wait for an answer like you said so as not to mess up any of my saves.

To answer my own question, if you even open the cheat menu in a game you will NOT be able to get anymore achievements or trophies for that save file, it does not affect any other save files so start a sandbox game and use the cheat menu in that file to do testing while you also play a career game with a different save so you can have your cake and eat it to....
