My attempts to conquer the Kerbol System!

stock version delivers a 1-2 Pod (look at screenshots in the attachments)

modded version delivers a DEMV MK2 + 6 Cart Rovers for exploring any Planet or Moon anomaly.

when in orbit you'll have >7000 litres of fuel and 6 nuclear engines, i went to moho and jool with this.

Use the ascend autopilot and go into an 150 km orbit, stop at stage 5. (stock version stage 2)

<b>you have to press "e" till you reach orbit!!! without the constant "roll" input the rocket turns on it self</b>

When the burn to apoapsis is finished drop the last ascending stage and circulize with the nuclear engines.

I included a savegame with two Explorers in Orbit.

More looking forward to the stock one because I don't like installing lots of mods, I normally just have one or two.

Still looking good though.

EDIT: (I thought with Ascent Autopilot that you couldn't control anything while it's operational, unless I'm missing something).

wasd overrides all mechjeb controls, except for throttle

stock one is currently in testing, you have to be really careful not to loose control when you reach orbit...

edit: also mechjeb tends to destroy rocket with Rockomax engines by going full throttle all of a sudden ...

Oh, OK. That proves how much I don't know about MechJeb. Thanks for telling me and good luck with testing.

I tried it : modded version, at 5000 m the rocket turns on itself, and nothing can stop this.

With or without MechJEB1.9.3, it's impossible to reach orbit.

did you keep pressing e the whole time?

you need to constantly roll the rocket or it starts turning like you said..
