darthvader15001
so could you add clamshell deployment instead of that confetti deployment? it would also be nice to have blacken on reentry. if anyone from intercept games sees this please put it into ksp2. Just FYI, clamshell deployment exists for KSP 1. Right click on the fairing to open the menu, you can switch between clamshell and confetti, and you can also do interstage nodes! I do hope that the feature continues in KSP 2., and maybe becomes the default.
Starwaster
@darthvader15001 @t_v You can also do it as a patch if you have Module Manager installed: clamshell.cfg @PART[*]:HAS[@MODULE[ModuleProceduralFairing]] { @MODULE[ModuleProceduralFairing] { %useClamshell = True } }
t_v
Thanks! I didn’t think to patch it in. Maybe I should start doing patches more when I want to change something…

It would be nice to default these to the values I typically use. I couldn't find the relevant info in any cfg files I looked in Nevermind, found them in craft file! It's the first thing that goes into GameData on a new modded install when updating KSP.
