Light fading

I was Wondering if there is a way to stop the in-game lights from fading off to just instantly turning off because im trying to make a strobe light with a custom pattern but they just fade off ruining the effect. if not... what are some mods that can help me?

Instead of using KAL controllers to turn light on and off, what I do instead for the navigation lights is having the controllers control the RGB values of the lights over time. I'm not sure if it's been fixed, but they all have to have a minimum value of 1 or else the color bugs out. I have a subassembly that I use to quickly place a full set of navigation lights that I could share if you want it.

Here's an example of one of my airliners using this method of strobe lights. You can see that the tail strobe lights have a hard switch from white to off. The KAL controllers are actually making the light jump from max for all RGB, then 1 for all RGB.
