KSP Car Racing: KSC Test Track Time Trials

Complete a single (standing start) lap of this track with a car, as fast as possible (timed with an external stopwatch). Restrictions are:

-Only propulsion may be rover wheels. So no rockets, jets or Kraken Drives allowed! (You are allowed to tune the wheel settings, obviously.)

-At least three wheels, otherwise it counts as a bike. You can have unpowered plane wheels if you really want.

-At least one Kerbal. This can be in an EAS-1 External Command Seat or in a proper cabin, but at least one must be on the vessel.

-No infinite electricity. The lap must be completed using the car's own electricity resources, whether that be batteries, solar panels, fuel cells or RTGs.

-As many attempts as you want! Feel free to quicksave at the start position so you can go back if you crash or run out of power.

-Only Stock + DLC parts.

Lights are not required. They look cool and that's about it (unless you're doing your lap at night).

This is my car; the 'KerbalKar' XR. Four-wheel drive with front-wheel steering. Elevons rotated forward slightly make great spoilers, and really help to stop rolling.

Notice that the spoilers are rotated inward slightly as well - This means that when you press the A & D keys, they will move in a certain direction, which I have set up to reduce roll.

The elevons have  their 'deploy' function mapped to the 'gear' action group, so the spoilers can lay flat for reduced drag on straights, but on corners, they can be tilted upward to increase downforce.

It has enough batteries for about 2-3 laps, and some structural panels (because they look cool  ).

This is the start position of the track.

All of that and I managed a 1:18.72. Can you beat it?

Are we allowed to use x4 phys-warp to get a better time?

No, sorry! It might not even work as there are plenty of invisible bumps on the track.

Is aero trick allowed ?

What do you mean? If it's an exploit, then no.

not sure where track limits are exactly, but heres my run. the hardest part honestly is the steering is too dang sensitive. i tried mapping my wheel/pedals but the game just wouldnt accept the binds.
