No option to resume Mining Excavator?

Two different flights, I land and start mining operations but if power runs out (light source lost, battery runs out), when power resumes, I'm still unable to resume operation of the excavator (see image)

modded quite heavily ... assuming a mod is an issue but was curious if others either have or have not experienced this.  Only mod i'm using that is  incompatible per CKAN is the SCANsat mod.  

Just curious if anyone else has had the issue.  I assume it's isolated to myself and my setup but...

I suggest you try to resume the mining after restarting KSP, then (if it doesn't work) try with each of your different mods individually to see which one causes the problem (if the cause is a mod).

Thanks for your reply.  As I was building another reply, i stumbled upon the realization of what I did.
