Yeah so when you use the EVA's jetpack, there seems to be a bug where stopping it's use resets your velocity to 0. This possibly only occurs in atmosphere, as that is where I encountered it.

Turned out for me to be a game making bug since It let the kerbal I'd sent to the moon get out with 0 fuel, managing to reset my velocity 10 meters from the surface.

Anybody else run into this?
