EVA before crash removes vehicle from end report, can't rollback

I tried to bail the munar lander before crashing due to lack of dV, to try and use EVA pack to slow the kerbonaut and land him to be saved later. 

I failed

However, I can no longer revert to VAB because the game thinks the flight started when EVA started.
