I was just messing around withbooster and TADAH! I had a rocketthat goes to escape velocity just by boosters.

It also has a nuclear engine, so it should make for a good interstellar craft once you can manage the power.

All of my space craft either escape Kerbin orbit and fly eternally around the Sun, or explode due to crash or overheat.

Hmm ... the stages have some issues - the third separates along with the second without ever starting burn.

Also, if you have that much rocket you're carrying with, you're probably better off with it all burning right from the start. In fact, I suspect an asparagus stalk liquid fuel arrangement with everything firing from the start might work better.

I am not actually sure what kind of design you are proposing, I haven´t been here too long, but that wasn´t exactly my idea behid this. But thanks for the tip anyways!
