FourToeJoe
KSP Version: 0.1.0.0.20892 Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 22H2 CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3080TI Driver: 528.49 Description of the bug. Expected Behavior: Parts can be moved through left click and attached as they were assembled. Observed Behavior: When first clicking a sub-assembly, some parts will change their rotation to the default (a horizontal fuel tank may change to vertical). I never observed it happening to the root part, or the part I clicked to move Steps to Replicate: Happens seemingly randomly when clicking sub assembly to move it. Fixes / Workarounds: recopying it sometimes helps (only if its a duplicate of another part) Other Notes / Screenshots / Log Files (if possible..) CylonMike
This happened repeatedly to me, ended up changing my build order several times to get it on. Even manually trying to rotate it caused it to snap back the wrong way. A mid sized decoupler was the part for me.
AK1445
This happens to me when I move a sub-assembly over another assembly. I think some parts are rotating to snap to snapping points on the other assembly, but without rotating the rest of the sub-assembly.
