basb4 Posted February 26, 2023 Share Posted February 26, 2023 when a craft is rotated by the root part the SAS and player input are out of phase by 90 deg controle setup: spawn a command capsule in the VAB, add a SRB and launch. make sure SAS is on and locked or pointed up, craft should point up the whole way. recreating bug revert to the VAB, grab the command pod (root part) and rotate the whole craft by 90 deg by pressing Q or E and launch again. make sure SAS is on and locked or pointed up. result: the craft starts spinning around when trying to keep its heading in a way that indicates the inputs are rotated 90 deg. the RCS on the pod doesn't seem to have the same problem, likely because it rotated as well. good luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
basb4 Posted February 27, 2023 Author Share Posted February 27, 2023 another way to test this is, spawn a pobe core, add a reaction control unit and rotate whole craft 90 deg. when lunched it wil spin wildly out of control with the slightest nuges.
