Maggnum69
KSP version: KSP2 Early access version 0.1.0.0.20892 Operating system: Windows 10 Hardware: Geforce RTX 2070S, Intel core i5-9600KF @ 3.7 GHz, 48 GB DDR 4 RAM Bug description: Small parts such as RCS and antennas gets offset or moved away from the main craft every time i load it. It just moves sligtly in the same direction and just stayes there. They are still part of the craft and rotates with it and everything. Expected Behavior: Parts STAY on the craft when loading it Steps to Replicate: I built an orbital station with parts such as antennas and RCS and every time i loaded it when docking or from a save, the parts had shifted just a bit. bigger parts stayed. I have not found a fix, and the parts just keep shifting more and more for each load i do. I dont have any mods. Screenshots
Hecatonichosachoron
Similar issue. Launched this rocket into LKO, exited the game, and reloaded later and several parts were in odd places and the whole ship was shuddering. Running Space Warp and Custom Flags mods from SpaceDock. WingC3
I've had this happen with some RCS thrusters. Reloading did not resolve the issue. Very frustrating. Had to de-orbit and re-launch the craft. Example: https://we.tl/t-4MLLxPwGJo Edited February 27, 2023 by WingC3
KerbalBK
Same thing here. Bug description: Radially attached parts are becoming more and more offset from the center of the craft body once in flight for an unknown amount of time. The actual center around which they are radially attached seems to be offsetting, which then offsets the parts. This has gotten worse over time after doing other things in KSP2, letting time pass and then going back to the craft. First time I noticed this happening, the radial parts on the side of the craft that were "sinking in" to the craft were still somewhat visible: This was the opposite side of the craft, where the radial parts were offsetting away from the craft: After doing some other things in KSP2, discovering more bugs, & coming back to KSP2 after exiting it for a while, these radial parts had offset even more: As you can see, now the radial parts that were offsetting into the craft were no longer visible & were truly inside the body of the craft: As for the opposite side, those radial parts were even further away than before: Oh and poor Bill Kerman can't exit the craft either because one of the offset batteries is blocking the hatch. This means the parts are also offsetting upwards a bit, which is visible in my screenshots. I did manage to get this craft, which is the upper stage of the stock K1 rocket, to an orbit around the Mun. So that means the craft is still functional at least. Certainly less game-breaking than other bugs I've encountered or read about, but still not good.
