Falling through the mun

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I've just put together a rover and sent it to the Mun. Upon landing, the craft spins uncontrollably and falls through the surface. I had 3x time warp turned on when approaching the Mun. I tried to stop it before landing but it wouldn't allow me until the craft fell through the surface. If I look at the craft from the main view it shows just empty space. Ground altimeter is giving a negative reading as well.

When I reset to VAB (and reload my saved rocket with rover), my rover is actually gone :(. Just the rocket remains without the rover.

Guess what. I found the rover in the VAB, it teleported somewhere to the ground far away from the rocket. Managed to re-attach it.

I will try to land on the moon again and hope that I don't fall through or get frequent freezes like last time.

When I reverted to VAB, my space station dissapeared from orbit totgether with all debris from stages that fell off. damn :(

Things are getting really weird. I saved my approach to the Mun and try to reload it and then all of a sudden the whole KSC just appeared above me. Litteraly in between Kerbin and the Mun it spawned in space, totally bizare. I could even crash into it..

After a few restarts and retries. I made it too the Mun with my rover. Unfortunately I can't EVA because something is apparently blocking my kerbal. Camera is going through the surface if you look from below. Hope this feedback helps with optimizing the game.
