Streetwind
KSP Version: 0.1.1.0 Operating System: any CPU and GPU: any Description of the bug: In KSP2, Kerbals have mass even when they sit inside a pod/cockpit. However, this mass is improperly added to the spacecraft, causing dV calcuation to display an incorrect value for stages that have both Kerbals and propulsion in them (such as landers). Expected Behavior: As Kerbals are not a consumable resource, they should be classified as dry mass. Therefore, their mass should be added both to dry mass and wet mass statistics of the spacecraft. Observed Behavior: The mass of Kerbals is added only to wet mass statistics. This causes the editor to think that the spacecraft's dry mass is lower than it will actually be in flight, which has an influence on the rocket equation that calculates the amount of dV available to the stage that the Kerbals reside in. Steps to Replicate: In an empty editor, select a crewed pod. Add a single fuel tank and a single engine, so that there is an amount of dV being calculated by the editor. Bring up the Kerbal Manager and the Engineer's Report. Observe changes to wet mass and dry mass in the report, as well as spacecraft dV, as you add or remove Kerbals from the pod.
