  • Description of the bug.

If you use any air breathing engine with any air intake, when you close and re-open that air intake whilst your engine is producing thrust the sound of the engine will go away.

  • Expected Behavior

When re-opening the air intake the air breathing engine will have sound.

  • Observed Behavior

When re-opening the air intake the air breathing engine does not have any sound.

  • Steps to Replicate
  1. Have any craft with an air intake and air breathing engine
  2. Activate the engine and throttle up (It doesn't matter wheter you are in flight or on the ground as long as the engine is producing thrust)
  3. Close all air intakes and have the air be used up as you keep your throttle 1 or above
  4. Open any air intake back up, it doesn't matter what level your throttle is at, even if it's at 0
  5. Throttle back up and you'll notice the engine does not make any sound anymore

  • Other Notes

If you use the panther after having done the bug, you can change to the different mode and while it's in the other mode it will have it's sound, but it will lose it's sound again when you switch back to the mode on which you did the bug.

There's no fixes or workarounds of which i know.

There are no mods installed.
