Munar Cart Fun!

Its been a few weeks since Bill landed on the Mun. My next mission was to land a cart on the Mun for some scientific research (And by research I mean backflips... For Science!) Again, I would be using my trusty Munabu module to get me there. Proud Bob was going to get his fame.

Jebediah stranded him in the ocean.

So without question, Jeb got his chance. With almost no fuel left to spare, we got the craft on a smooth hill.

Next problem was getting the cart off the rocket without failing the mission. With ease, Jeb scooted his cart off the rocket and drifted to the ground below.

Jeb is expected to stay on the Mun for a while. We packed his minifridge full of Kerban Dew and snack cakes, so he sure will have fun doing countless backflips (for science) and looking for easter eggs.

Well Done Nuclear, my last 3 Mun attempts have failed, with 2 of them exploding on the surface, at least Bill (also my first kerbal to land on the Mun) got home safely.

I can't seem to land safely currently.

Anyway, have fun letting Jeb do crazy stunts on the Mun and I hope he doesn't get stuck like Spirit (not in the same circumstances, obviously).

Don't fret. My missions usually take me a minimum of one failure till I get it right.

If you attach some small boosters to the sides, you can land more easily, plus bonus points for doing it MSL style

The first thing I did when I got a cart on the Mun was, "Let's see how fast this thing can go!" A minute later I was launching off the tops of regolith dunes at 230km/h. At that speed an ASAS unit is helpful to keep it on the wheels.

I found it funny I used a gigantic Kethane Rover that did discover kethane, and it's lander was two huge nuclear engines.

Damn rover weighed like 12KMUs, and was funny enough, my first rover.
