Help! Encountered bug In Orbit but Game thinks I am on the surface

Hey,

 

I just performed my first Mun landing and also was able to get back up into orbit but the game thinks I am still on the surface. I cant timewarp because I am "on the surface", cant see a flight path and cant save. I already googled and one member in this forum wrote in another thread "This bug has actually been around for a while now but there's a simple fix for it, something that will make you face-palm because you didn't think of it." But I couldnt find anything. Its very frustrating can you help me?

Assuming you're talking about KSP2, try this guide:

The thread you're referencing was a KSP1 thread. For KSP1 you could either try editing a save or using the debug menu. Enter the debug menu, go to cheats, set orbit, and set your vessel to orbit the Mun.
