how to get mods to work ?

hello i am jacob2121 i love ksp but i would love to get some mods i have Download some but how do u get them to work on the game plz help me

Welcome to the forums :DYou will need the full version of the game for plugins. If you have this, then in general to install a plugin you must:Copy the .DLL files to the KSP/Plugins folderCopy any parts folders to the KSP/parts folderYou can ignore any .cs files.Happy engineering!

You must have the paid version. If you are using the free version, then plugins will not work.

If you have mods that dont rely on plugins (ie: the zip file doesn't have a Plugins folder), just find the Parts folder in the zip file and merge it with the Parts folder in your KSP installation
