Do Jets Work On Eve

Yeah but the new pack thats being worked on is going to bring a lot of other packs together like Kosmos and stuff so that one plugin can be used for the majority of panels out there. As it stands I have lots of panels that dont work simply because of incompatability. /sadpandaface

Nova, how exactly is whether jets work or not programmed into the game? Is it just a property you set in the atmosphere, or do the atmospheres actually have their composition coded in and you have jets look for oxygen specifically? The latter is probably a lot harder to code in, but it would be interesting.

At the moment, it's literally a checkbox on the planet itself as to whether it has oxygen. If it does, jets will work. It likey will have a more detailed composition identifier in the future though.

Arg, le rage! No wonder poor bill could never get his advanced jet lander to get down onto Dune. Well, I guess he is restricted to a low orbit. Back to deployable gas bag project.

What are the atmosphere compositions of Eve, Duna, Kerbin, etc..?

Carbon Dioxide? Nitrogen?

I think Kerbin's is just like Earth's and Duna seems to be like mars with its thin atmosphere, but Eve on the other hand could be anything.

Eve is like a bigger, purple-er Venus with a much thinner atmosphere.

If you think Eve's 5 bar at sea level atmosphere is thick check out Venus's atmosphere, it's 93 bar at the surface.
