I started out with smaller rockets and got to 4 folks on the lake but obviously 3 rockets with 9 folks is more fun. Does anyone know a way to launch a 3 person module without 3 people? I had a Kerbal get out on the launch pad but he was so high up he dusted up a fuel tank on the way down.

What I do is build a ladder all the way down, or just deploy on EVA the character and end flight while that character is active. If you have problem with the character falling to doom because does not grab ladder in lag, build a small platform that jettisons on launch and do the previous end flight tactic.
