Construction Struts attach to the original location of offset parts

OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed Linux via Proton | CPU: Intel Core i7-1185G7 | GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT via Thunderbolt 3 | RAM: 32 GB

 

I was building a spaceplane with offset landing gear (to make the whole thing look nicer), but when I attach a strut to the landing gear, the strut attaches in the original location of the gear. I have only tested this with the LV-60 landing gear, so it could be a part-specific problem or a bigger issue.
