Modding tutorials?

I can imagine such topics have been here before, but searching around didnt bring up many useful things (although if I were to be pointed in the right direction, feel free to lock this topic, or whatever it is that happens when a thread becomes useless).

Now I am a pretty skilled modeller and texture artist, and pretty good with 3D animations, so these parts I have covered. What Id like is some start-to-finish guide on making parts for KSP (and some vectoring-engine tutorials would be good too), most tutorials I find right now get a bit confusing and/or assume knowledge of the inner workings of KSP. If a noob-proof set of tutorials exist I'd very much appreciate a nudge in the right direction

If not, then any help is equally appreciated.
