Futuristic Shuttle and boosters

Pretty much what it says on the tin. I'm developing a shuttle system that has a bit more of a futuristic look, (or more sci-fi take your pick) The down side is none of the parts will be able to cleanly mate with the existing parts and add-ons (mainly because I lack skill), but I do plan on remedying this. The main tank's bottom is 3m, and the boosters are LFTs and LFEs, the decoupler is a cheat to crossfeed the boosters and the main tank. I'm probably going to chop part of the top off and turn that into a decoupler.

Anyway, here's a connected and exploded view (no, not that kind of exploded).

I have a lot of groundwork in place for this type of delivery system. Particularly in the case of developing your collision mesh ;)

If you have any issues message me and I don't mind offering a hand. Good luck with it :)

Thanks, I need to get the things built before I worry about object collisions.

Speaking of built I realized today that I started without any thought towards compatibility with current parts and add-ons, so there is going to be a rebuild, and to keep things consistent I'm make some template meshes that I think would be a good tool so I'll release the .Blend for those of you who use blender.

Hopefully I can get that done while setting up a new computer, finishing a programming assignment, work, school work, and going crazy.

Okay actual update this time. This is the stack. The blue parts are couplers (They don't jettison any thing) The light grey parts are fuel tanks, the dark grey are engines, the green are decouplers (they do jettison things) and the aqua parts are the orbiters (yeah one of them is going to be a dummy until we can switch between craft, or another fuel tank) The orbiter will be made of a command module, a fuel tank and an engine as well as some wings and control surfaces.

Oh and the block in the scene is 20m tall.

hur hur hur. sorry.

(quoted from interesting times, if you haven\'t read it, read it!)

anyway, looks good.

Interesting Times isn\'t the best Pratchett book going, you know. Any of the ones with the Witches or Rincewind (wait, doesn\'t Interesting Times have Rincewind) are his best works. Also, 90% of what Truckle says in any of Pratchett\'s books is epic.
