[wip] Tardis IVA

So I'm making a Tardis command module and want to make an iva for it, but I'm having issues digging up tutorials to do it.

As far as I know, which may be wrong IVA meshes don't need to fit inside capsule models. From looking at some of the files I notice that the IVA seems to be a separate model that loads itself upon switching to IVA. I was wondering how to tweak the cfg to use a dae model as IVA for testing before compiling mu files since I don't have a copy of unity yet or the mod tools, or if I have to use the mu files for making IVA's.

Any tips help would be greatly appreciated.

And because I can, here's to IVA view I'm working on, I'm trying to keep the poly count low and still need to stitch some models together(the struts/columns before fully testing this). Still not textured either.

The Navball and other instruments are most likely going to be added to ye old LCD screen if I can figure this out.

Also if it works well enough I plan on making decent textures for it in the future and maybe adding a bit more detail to the model.

Have you considered using an internal space from one of the earlier doctors?

I'd think that they would be easier to model as they were often just a room with a central console.

Perhaps I could make the tardis throughout the years if I ever get enough spare time as Tom Bakers would be much simpler to make, but currently I'm quite fond of the Christopher Eccleston/David Tennant Tardis. Most of the stuff on the walls of the inside will be texturework but I need to start chopping a few polies out of this one before thinking of starting the texture.

Well this whole project got a lot less interesting. Is there a way I could scale down the parts inside the interior after making it fit to give the illusion it's bigger inside?

Also quick mockup of the control room of Doc #5 as I'm still trying to figure out the Tom Baker room shape other than the one they used for that short run before the set was damaged and they went back to the old version.
